My Story

My two Irish girls, Ginger & Ruby, with me on St. Patrick’s Day

What started as a love for putting color on my walls, soon became a hobby of DIY home design. Before I knew it, we were building, flipping, staging, and remodeling.

In our second flip house, we reimagined the dining space. Here it is ready to hit the market!

How did I get here?

It started in our first rental house when I painted the living room dark olive green. I loved it! The color made my home feel so cozy. I loved the feeling of being able to transform the space. As my husband and I grew our family into a family of six (yes, four boys!), I kept playing with the color on our walls and the design of our rooms—nurseries, office spaces, finishing our basement, renovating our kitchen, creating a play room…the list goes on. Soon I was contracting our own home, flipping a 140+ year old house, moving into a late ‘80s contemporary home that we would remodel piece by piece, and flipping another house (this time an adorable cape cod).

With just two kids left at home (hard to believe), and having learned a whole lot along the way, I was ready for the next step! I wanted to share my passion for creating and improving the spaces in our homes. After some great certification courses in both home staging and color consulting, I am was excited and ready to help others transform their own homes!

This 1870’s farmhouse bathroom turned out great—but the 600+ subway tiles sure took me a while to install!
